Milestone

The Landlord Association passes 86,000 UK landlord members

The Landlord Association (TLA) now supports more than 86,000 UK landlords, as private landlords prepare for the biggest changes to the rental sector in a generation under the Renters’ Rights Act 2025.

Founded in 2006 as part of Landlord Expert, and operating as The Landlord Association (TLA) since 2018, TLA brings compliance tools, guided documents, property management software and member support together in one connected platform. Landlord membership starts from £149 a year, and free guidance and selected compliance tools are available without payment.

Renters’ Rights Act 2025: TLA launches its Compliance Pack and a free RRA Compliance Checker

TLA has launched a Renters’ Rights Act 2025 Compliance Pack for landlords, alongside a free interactive RRA Compliance Checker that tests tenancy readiness against the Act’s main requirements.

The pack combines Act-ready documents with practical guidance. TLA also guides members through registration on the new private rented sector property database, and for Landlord Plus members pays the £65 government registration fee on their behalf.

Product

TLA AI Document Studio now offers 80+ Renters’ Rights Act-ready documents

TLA’s AI Document Studio now covers more than 80 compliant documents for landlords and letting agents, including tenancy agreements, notices and compliance checklists, all generated through guided questions and downloaded ready to use.

The studio works alongside ORBIT, TLA’s connected property and compliance workspace, where certificates, key dates, documents and repairs are tracked against the correct property and tenancy. TLA documents and guidance are not formal legal advice. Members are directed to qualified legal advice for complex tenancy situations, possession proceedings or disputes.

Partnerships

TLA Trusted Partner Network opens to applications from vetted service providers

TLA is now onboarding businesses into its Trusted Partner Network, a vetted network of legal, lettings, property management and specialist service providers serving UK landlords and agents.

The public partner directory launches in Q4 2026. Eligible businesses can apply to join now, ahead of launch.
