Our story

From an online landlord resource to a full rental platform

TLA traces its roots to Landlord Expert, an online landlord resource established in 2006. The modern platform has since expanded to support landlords, agents and tenants.

Landlord Expert begins

Daniel J. Francis established Landlord Expert as an online resource and community for landlords seeking practical information and shared experience.

2019

The modern TLA platform develops

Scott Evans led the development of landlordassociation.org.uk and the transition toward a broader membership, compliance and support platform.

2025

Commercial operations formalised

TLA Commercial Partnerships Ltd was incorporated to manage commercial partnerships, sponsorships and related business activity.

2026

Platform-led expansion

TLA expanded its compliance tools, AI Document Studio, member dashboards, support hubs, research, community and editorial publishing infrastructure.
