Signed tenant receipt confirming which statutory and tenancy documents have been received and retained on file.
Included with your eligible TLA membership. Access the full document library from your member account.
This TLA member document provides a signed record confirming which statutory, tenancy and compliance documents have been received by the tenant at the start of, or during, the tenancy.
This receipt does not replace the documents themselves. It is an audit record confirming what was issued and acknowledged.
The Renters’ Rights Act 2026 places greater emphasis on record keeping, transparency and compliance evidence. Landlords and agents should be able to show what information was provided to the tenant and when.
This document helps create a clear signed record for the tenancy file and may assist where questions later arise about document service, statutory compliance or possession readiness.
Use this document at the beginning of a tenancy, when issuing updated compliance documents, or whenever a tenant needs to acknowledge receipt of important tenancy paperwork.
This document supports good record keeping but does not remove the need to serve the underlying statutory documents correctly. Landlords and agents should review the tenancy file before relying on any receipt or acknowledgement in a dispute.
