What types of legal enquiries or claims can I submit?
You can submit enquiries relating to rent arrears, property disrepair, unauthorised eviction, harassment, tenancy fraud, deposit issues, agreement breaches, notices, documentation concerns, and other tenancy-related disputes.
Do I need to be a member to submit an enquiry?
In most cases, yes. You should be logged in as a
TLA member so your enquiry can be linked correctly to your account and managed properly. If you are not yet a member, you can
join here.
How is my enquiry reviewed?
Every submission is reviewed by the relevant TLA support team before any next steps are recommended. We assess the issue, review the information you provide, and then respond with guidance, document requests, escalation options, or referral advice where appropriate.
Can I upload attachments and evidence?
Yes. You should upload supporting materials such as tenancy agreements, emails, notices, photographs, rent schedules, inspection reports, invoices, or any other relevant evidence that helps explain the matter clearly.
How quickly will I receive a response?
Most enquiries are reviewed within around 6 hours. Our target is to respond to standard submissions within a maximum of 24 hours. More complex matters may require further review, but you will still receive acknowledgement and next-step guidance.
Is there a cost to submit an enquiry?
Submitting an enquiry is free. If your matter later requires additional legal drafting, specialist support, partner referral, or court-level help, any costs would be explained clearly before anything proceeds.
Will I get legal advice after submitting?
You will receive initial guidance based on the details you provide. If the matter requires more advanced legal input, we will outline the available options, including structured support or referral onward where appropriate.
Can I track the progress of my enquiry or claim?
Yes. Where applicable, your enquiry can be linked to your account or dashboard so
updates, document requests, and communications can be managed more clearly.
What if multiple tenants, landlords, or parties are involved?
That is fine. Just include the names, roles, and relevance of all parties when completing the form. The clearer your submission, the easier it is for our team to assess responsibility and structure the case properly.
What if my matter is urgent?
If the issue is time-sensitive, such as
illegal eviction, serious disrepair, harassment, or an imminent deadline, make that clear in your submission. Urgent matters are prioritised for faster review.
What information helps you respond more accurately?
The best submissions usually include a short summary of the issue, the key timeline, the property address, the names of the relevant parties, the outcome you are seeking, and at least one important supporting document.
What happens after I submit the form?
After submission, your enquiry is reviewed and triaged. We then come back to you with guidance, requests for extra information, or recommended next steps depending on the nature and urgency of the matter.
