Terms & Conditions

By submitting your firm's application to join The Landlord Association Legal Partner Programme, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:

  1. Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be UK-regulated law firms, barristers' chambers, or accredited legal professionals with current SRA registration, valid professional indemnity insurance, and demonstrated expertise in UK residential property law, landlord-tenant disputes, or housing legislation.

  2. Information Accuracy & Updates

All submitted information must be accurate, current, and verifiable. Partners must notify TLA within 14 days of any material changes to their credentials, contact details, service offerings, or regulatory status. False or misleading information may result in immediate removal from the programme.

  3. Application Review & Approval

All applications are subject to comprehensive review and approval by TLA's partnerships team. TLA reserves the right to reject applications at its sole discretion and is not obligated to provide detailed reasons for rejection. Approval does not guarantee continued inclusion in the programme.

  4. Service Standards & Conduct

Legal Partners must maintain the highest professional standards, respond to client inquiries promptly, provide clear fee structures, and conduct all business in accordance with SRA principles and UK legal professional guidelines. Any complaints or regulatory issues must be disclosed immediately.

  5. Marketing & Promotional Rights

TLA may display, promote, and market your firm's information across its platforms, publications, events, and partner communications. This includes the right to use your firm's name, logo, and provided information for promotional purposes related to the Legal Partner Programme.

  6. Payment Terms

For paid listings, payment is required prior to profile activation. All fees are non-refundable once your listing is live. Monthly subscriptions will auto-renew unless cancelled with 30 days' written notice. Annual subscriptions are due in full upon approval.

  7. Modification & Removal

Partners may request profile edits or removal by contacting partnerships@landlordassociation.org.uk with 30 days' written notice. TLA reserves the right to modify, suspend, or remove listings for breach of terms, regulatory issues, or quality concerns without prior notice.

  8. Liability & Disclaimers

TLA acts as a directory service only and does not endorse, guarantee, or take responsibility for the quality, accuracy, or legality of services provided by Legal Partners. Users are advised to perform their own due diligence before engaging any listed professional. TLA's liability is limited to the fees paid for listing services.

  9. Term Modifications

These terms may be updated periodically to reflect legal requirements or programme changes. Continued participation in the programme following notice of changes constitutes acceptance of revised terms. Material changes will be communicated via email with 30 days' advance notice.

  10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. Any disputes shall be resolved through UK legal proceedings in accordance with applicable legislation.
