Included with eligible TLA Membership
Standalone value: £29
New lettings and RRA-ready tenancy setup
Important: This template is designed for the post-Renters’ Rights Act tenancy framework. It should still be checked against the tenancy facts, latest guidance and any property-specific requirements before use.
Use this agreement to record tenancy terms for an assured periodic tenancy, including rent, payment frequency, responsibilities, notices, property use and supporting tenancy information.
Under the post-RRA framework, landlords and agents should move away from outdated fixed-term AST wording and use clear assured periodic tenancy terms for new lettings where appropriate.
Existing agreements may not need to be reissued solely because of the RRA transition, but landlords should ensure required information has been served and tenancy records are up to date.
The agreement should be adapted carefully to the property, parties, management structure and tenancy circumstances before signing.
This agreement is included with eligible TLA Membership and carries a standalone non-member value of £29. Members can access this and other RRA, tenancy, compliance and legal support documents through the TLA member document library.
TLA member documents support landlords, agents and property managers with tenancy setup, compliance preparation, record keeping and day-to-day property management under the Renters' Rights Act 2026 framework.
